1. Who controls your information
Auren Labs is currently a UK-based business in a pre-incorporation, pre-launch phase. The individual or entity operating Auren will be the data controller. The controller's full legal name and geographical contact address will be published here before live trading or the collection of order data begins.
Privacy enquiries and requests can be sent to info@aurenlabs.com.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may process your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, order and payment status, customer-service messages, returns information, and technical details such as IP address, browser, device and security logs.
The WordPress storefront uses first-party storage for age confirmation and cookie preferences, together with WooCommerce cookies and server-side session data for basket and checkout functions. Auren does not ask customers to provide health information and you should not include medical or patient data in an enquiry.
3. Purposes and lawful bases
- Contract: to take payment, fulfil an accepted order, deliver goods, manage returns and provide order support.
- Legal obligation: to keep accounting and transaction records, handle statutory rights and respond to lawful requests.
- Legitimate interests: to secure the website, prevent fraud, administer the business and improve service, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent: for optional marketing communications and any non-essential cookies or similar technologies, where enabled. You may withdraw consent at any time.
4. Who receives information
We may share only the information needed with service providers that support hosting, ecommerce, payment processing, fraud prevention, email, customer support, accounting and delivery. Payment-card details will be handled by the chosen payment provider; Auren does not intend to store complete card details.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to establish or defend legal rights, or in connection with a genuine business sale or restructuring. A current provider list will be added before live checkout is enabled.
5. International transfers
Some future service providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards, we will use an approved transfer mechanism or another lawful basis and provide further information on request.
6. Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, to resolve disputes and to meet legal, tax and accounting duties. Order and financial records may ordinarily be kept for up to six years. Enquiries that do not lead to an order will generally be kept for no longer than 24 months unless there is a reason to retain them longer.
We use proportionate organisational and technical safeguards, but no internet service is completely secure. If a security incident creates a risk to individuals, we will assess and report it as required by law.
7. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information; object to processing; receive certain information in a portable format; and withdraw consent. You also have the right not to be subject to certain solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Email info@aurenlabs.com to exercise a right. We may need to verify your identity. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
8. Age restriction
The site and products are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so it can be investigated and deleted where appropriate.
9. Changes and contact
We will update this policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change and will show the new revision date. Questions can be sent to info@aurenlabs.com.
